History of Cinema
French Proficiency
While in France, I took a course integrated with students from Paul Valéry University. The course was the History of Cinema. I wrote an in-depth paper on the history of cinema to showcase what I learned in class for my program director.
I took a course abroad integrated with the French University, Paul Valéry. The course studied British films. This paper is a scene analysis from the film "Summertime."

This paper was completed at the end of my internship course I took while abroad. The essay covers what I learned about the differences between French and American work culture.
Survey of French Literature
French Literature
During this course we studied many pieces of French Literature. One of these books includes Les Miserables by Victor Hugo. The document attached is about the ambiguous ideas about gender roles in the text.
Political Science
Business
I completed an introduction to international relations class, where I wrote a critical thinking paper on liberal and social theories. This paper addresses self-interest as a boundary in allowing a full-democracy.
Recreation Policy

This course is primarily based on policy making in recreation. The attached form below is a hypothetical policy memo I wrote to the Governor requesting that South Carolina Parks rethink their goal of being 100% financially independent from taxes.
