Before becoming a French and International Business major, I majored in Early Childhood Education. Educating children has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. My grandmother started a preschool that she still runs to this day. My mother also taught at the preschool. Once I switched majors and was not spending time doing what I love most, I sought out childcare jobs. I got the role of an after school teacher at a church school right next to campus. I then became a part-time substitute teacher as well. Two years later, I have also started a French curriculum at the school. Teaching children is one of the most rewarding things for me. I have never once dreaded going into work, because I get to spend my time helping children grow.

Another passion of mine is quite niche, but I love organizing and caring for others' homes. I spend my summers house/dog sitting on the side. I did not realize this is something I enjoyed until I did it. The reason this is something I love is because I like tidying up and making a space enjoyable. It is rewarding to see homeowner's reactions to coming home and realizing I have gone the extra mile in caring for their homes and pets. My jobs rapidly increased as my credibility built. One of my many career goals includes starting a concierge service doing this full time.
